ITC Officina Process
After being assigned a font and style at random (ITC Officina Bold Italic), I was tasked with designing a 3x3 grid that would communicate the essence of the typeface followed by a short video giving a lesson about the font incorporating my grid. The project called for lots of hand iteration which forced me to pay close attention to small details of the letter forms.
Through this assignment I learned skills in composition, time motion, storyboarding, and clear communication.
